Southwest Coastline

Call me a romantic but I fell in love with the South West coastline when I moved to Dartmoor three years ago. The rocky cliffs, coves and open bays hold a special place for me; this combined with the many legends and history associated with our coastline make it an outstanding area of the British Isles.
'...It's the early morning light that takes me, on a rising tide, and breaks me, by the waterside then wakes me, as the waves collide...' - From 'Seven Days' by Westcountry band Show Of Hands.

I happened upon this place - an accidental peace;
The salt smell rushes back to me now,
Bringing back the child, over the grey anxiety of years.
The ocean here always sparkles silver,
The marble veined rocks reach and protect;
The wave years rush through me,
And their dear sweet salt song resounds forever in me………………..
